New Hope

So the doctors apt was great! He is so on it. It was our very first office visit with Dr. Hammoud and he wasted no time. We got an ultrasound done and it showed that I do have PCOS. dang it. But now we at least know for sure the problem. He didn't feel that the round of 100 mg clomid I just did worked so he gave me a higher dose and we dont have to wait until the next cycle to try it! I got to start the 150 mg clomid with a steroid that same day.It was killing me with my regular ob/gyn because he doesnt specialize in infertility so he was only trying a new round of meds every cycle and that was every TWO months. This doc at the U of U knows his stuff and we are very impressed by him. We were lucky to find him. We go back in on the 29th to get another ultrasound to see if the higher dose of clomid worked, if not he is going to change the medication and see if that a works. Before we left the office he said it usually takes 3 or 4 cycles to get prego after they get my body to do its thing. He also said that we could be prego in as little as three weeks if this med works. I just have a new feeling of hope and its great because I was getting a little bit blue about the trouble we have had.
On a different note last night(10/ 22/10) I went out on a girls night. It was so fun. We all dressed up as witch's and went to olive garden for dinner then we went to Gardener Village for the witch fest and it was like walking through a halloween town. There were witch's and halloween decorations everywhere it was so neat. After that got over we then went to club allure. It was fun to dance around with Chelle and Trish, but a little weird to not have chris with me. I have not been out dancing in forever. I for sure can not move the same as I did in high school. lol. I think the best thing that came out of the girls night was my adorable hubby. I am utterly in love with him. I came home and hopped into bed with chris and when he put his arms around me to nuggle I was just so totally happy. I missed him and Love him soooooo much! It was a perfect end to my fun girls night.
I am so blessed. I am just so freaking happy with my life right now. I somehow lucked out and found the most perfect guy for me. Its so funny we can be so different but at the same time the same. We have the perfect balance between the both of us. I hope he knows just how much he means to me and how much I appreciate him dealing with me. :)

Trials

Oh man life has been crazy! I have so much homework I could just scream. This semester im taking english 2010, math 1050, modern dance, CIS 2010 and history 1700. It is just insane how many papers you have to write and homework crap you have to do. This semester is almost over it ends in the beginning of dec so I only have a little over a month left.( thats what I tell myself)
For those who don't know it was Chris's birthday on the 13 th and he turned the big 29! lol it was fun we went out to sushi at tsunami with chris's dad and after chris and I went to the haunted forest in american fork. It was a blast, the weather was good and not too cold and since it was a wednesday there were not a lot of people there. Of course we got stuck walking behind some overly dramatic mid twentys girl with her boyfriend. She was so annoying! It was still fun though. Then on friday we celebrated with chris's mom by going to the Jackass movie and then to dinner at ruby river. We had a lot of fun hanging out with her and it was a great bonding time for us. I would like to do it again soon.
As for our living situation. Living at Chris's dads is not bad at all. We come and go as we please and it is fun when we get to hang out together for dinners and tv shows. Teresa (Jims girlfriend) is gone to china until the end of october and I relized when she left how fun she is to have around. Its a little too quite without her video games upstairs.
For anyone that wants to know Chris and I have been having problems getting prego and I have been working with my Ob/gyn to try and solve the problem. We have done two rounds of clomid and so far they have not worked. We know I have hoshimotos but that is under control with meds and my ob thinks I have PCOS but my mother in law looked at my labs and is not completely sure thats the problem. She just went to a conference last week and there was a guys from the u of u that has some techniques that have shown to work and since he is a reproductive endocronologist he can make sure I have no other underlying problem that is making me infertile. I will see him on the 20th and we hope he can work some magic!
